Homewatch International, offering Homewatch CareGivers franchises, has announced the granting of franchise rights to three Central American countries. Homewatch CareGivers businesses provide independence and peace-of-mind through professional in-home care services.
HWCG Central American Services S.A. in Costa Rica has purchased the master franchise rights to Costa Rica as well as Guatemala and Panama. They plan to open the first franchise in Costa Rica by the end of 2006.
Many Central American countries are seeing a growing demand for in-home care services, especially as the population ages. Currently, less than 8 percent of the population of 40 million is over 65 compared to about 12.5 percent of the population in the U.S. However, research shows that the percentage of the population over 65 in Central America will rise to more than 20 percent by 2050.
"We thoroughly researched franchise opportunities," said Luis Diego Osborne, President of HWCG Central American Services S.A. "Their reputation, extensive franchise support and commitment to treating clients with respect, dignity and compassion were key factors in choosing Homewatch International."
President of Homewatch International, Leann Reynolds, said the Central American market has strong growth potential, and HWCG Central American Services S.A. has the business experience and expertise to succeed.
"The members of the management team have impressive business backgrounds and extensive contacts throughout Central America," said Reynolds.
The team's business background includes experience in marketing, advertising and promotions for GBM (IBM) Corporation and Intel Corporation.
HWCG Central American Services S.A. will open its first Homewatch CareGivers franchise in San Jose, Costa Rica, and plans to expand throughout Central America over the next few years.
Unlike other home care agencies, Homewatch CareGivers helps families provide care to individuals of all ages, including those who are recovering, disabled or rehabilitating, as well as those with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and others who need individualized care.
In addition to building strong relationships with franchise owners and their staff, Homewatch International offers large, exclusive territories, diversified revenue streams and superior marketing power. The company's caregivers are continuously trained and always triple screened.
